How Online Gaming Can Grow Your Network Marketing Business Part 2

Posted in Personal Development

In the previous post we shared an example of how a certain company developed an online gaming application for Facebook that would demonstrate/expose  to the user the benefits of its healthy products, which was in this case, energy drinks. Along with this fun game app was the opportunity to share what the company was about with others, thus, creating a potentially powerful tool, that would virally track every invitee to the inviter’s business. Interesting and quite a powerful concept…

But it didn’t work.

However, as with every business, there are downsides, and upsides, successes, and failures. Edison was not a success overnight, neither any other business person with a vision. Failure is inevitable. It is a part of success as much as nighttime and daytime are to complete a full day. Despite what all the delinquent networkers said about the failure of RAD, it appears Edison is back!

The Karate Kid and eWorlds

karate_kidGood companies learn from their mistakes while others go out of business. You remember the Karate Kid, right? Danielson gets tore up by the jealous karate punks. Mr. Miyagi comes to his rescue and then teaches him karate.  However, it wasn’t so he could go and beat up the losers that tore him up, but to defend himself and build Danielson’s character and honor, as well as deal with the other issues he had in the film about himself, LOL.

Okay, so we observed this company get beat up over the RAD thing. Remember Ralph Macchio’s character, bleeding, hurting, and angry. Ever felt that way in network marketing? Sure you have! “I just want to go home!”, he said. Think I’ll quit and join another company, waaaah, you might have said. Well, life is our teacher and has much to teach us if we will listen.

Six months later there is a new kid on the block, bigger and better than ever.  Apparently Efusjon spent some time doing the, ” Wax On, Wax Off ” thing. With eWorlds, the users are like the Karate Kid. He was Daniel before but he is Danielson now, big difference. So what changed? It seems everything and everyone has, for the good! Not many companies can do that.

eWorlds turns out to be more than a game though, but a teacher. Yes, you could call the game Mr. Miyagi. The students, members of Efusjon, have stepped back into the social media platform having learned some things and this post will explain why.

The game’s concept is this:

“It is the year 2311. A global energy crisis threatens civilization and mankind has spread to off world colonies in an effort to find resources to sustain its existence. eWorlds takes you into a frontier planet.”

eworldsOn this frontier planet, the user creates his/her own empire of energy resources. This is done by building harvesters that harvest the resources needed to sustain life. These resources can be then taken and traded for money which is then used to continue to grow and protect the empire. It involves all users in an interactive community where offense and defense is needed as assaults on harvest fields is common. The menu is simple, yet, has a lot that the user can do with it. It is a patient game that evolves with more possibilities with each new level reached.

Okay, here is the training part. eWorlds has created an environment that mirrors the network marketers lifestyle, particularly, those in Efusjon.

The user harvests, expands the land mass, protects the harvest militarily, and trades on the open markets where pirates, and other pestilences can ambush the trade.

eWorlds Teaches Network Marketing Skills

  • Harvesting – In the game users harvest what they consume everyday:  Edge, Breeze, Raw and Dawn all natural energy drinks. Harvesting the antioxidants and other nutrients good for the body, which help the body grow and defend itself from free radicals that can damage the body on a cellular level.
  • Land Expansions – takes Patience to build a home business, -  1 person at a time. Who doesn’t love the sense of personal accomplishment? The more the lands grow, the more progress you make, the more you want to play the game. It feeds the human nature and spirit that loves to succeed. In other words, the more that join the business the more the resources grow!
  • Attacks – nothing like taking time to run a couple dozen plus harvesters only to have someone desecrate your fields. Disappointing. There was a spell where many continued with persistent attacks so that a user had to close out of the game. Kinda like prospecting and getting no results. Setbacks are a part of business growth. There are losses. The game makes you feel that loss, not just the gain.
  • Defense – the user protects their harvest by adding military defense (your reason why for being in a home business) and also by connecting with clan members that are defensively strong(stay plugged in to calls, corporate, etc.) Networking means a person is not alone.
  • Trading – re-investing in the business. Marketing requires that an individual put back some of or all, in some cases, the profit, back into the business so the business can grow or leads can continue to come in. This can be done via PPC ads, ezines, blog posts, classified ads, press releases, video marketing, etc.

eworldseWorlds has created a whole new opportunity for the entrepreneur to grow personally, but also to help a game grow into a huge vacuum that pulls the searching prospect into it. The developers set up a page that allows the users to give feedback concerning the game. Now the tables have turned. It is no longer just a game. Particularly, it is in the hands of the “Danielson’s” of Efusjon to evolve this game into a playground for the current and potential consumers of the energy drinks and partakers of the financial opportunity that Efusjon offers.

So playing the game is more than just playing for some, it mimicks  the lifestyle Efusjon has given them physically and financially. I don’t suppose I blame them for feeling that way, healthy energy throughout the day, plus product bonus money and a residual monthly income, sounds pretty good. When others actually understand that the game is a snapshot of a potential lifestyle…..hmmmm, look out!

The game is still in “beta” release mode, yet it displays incredible graphics inside an environment that keeps the user coming back for more. As far as sharing the business side of it with those who are invited, let’s see what Danielson is doing. No one wants to play a game if they feel they are being snookered into something. Yet, everyone loves to play a game, at least, once and a while.

eWorlds Invite A Friend Selection

This button is at the top of the main screen when the eWorlds online game is loading and in operation, unless you toggle the screen for full screen mode while playing. This author has tried it and with a 21-inch flat screen, pretty cool! But the invite button is there and is being used in this manner:

  • Select the Invite button
  • Choose up to 4 invitees
  • click send, or…
  • Add a personal message along with the invite then send it…

The personal message should be an exciting invite, not a sales pitch, not a spam mail. This is one lesson learned by the RAD experiment. Many in the friends lists are acquaintances, so many are being mindful of that. They may not know the inviter all that well.

  • Add a warm, excited invite personal message
  • Sign it with your name!
  • Below the signature, add your facebook profile link. This reminds them they are connected to you and gives them a chance to review the profile.
  • Have a link to a page about eWorlds and Efusjon there. If you have a blog, this would be a good place to put it. Establish credibility. Explain eWorlds in a personal testimony. Why are YOU there playing it and what has it done for you?

The idea that a game can lead to brightening someone’s financial future, especially during these tough economic times, is quite intriguing and powerful. Think about it.

Also think about this, games can be distracting. Be aware of this! No matter what a person’s biz opp is, games are tools. A person could be DISTRACTED from the main FOCUS of their business. If an individual is playing games and not building a business then they might have fallen into a FOCUS stopper.
